fishing in the borders Some of the best fresh water fishing in Scotland can be found in the Scottish Borders.

In this most beautiful and tranquil setting, the Ettrick River boasts some amazing fishing in season, being one of the main routes for salmon returning to spawn. The nearby Yarrow and Tweed are likewise famous for their salmon. They can all also be fished for trout.

There are also Lochs and Reservoirs around the area where shore and/or boat fishing is available.

The Byres is perfectly situated - just a five minute stroll down to one of the several fishing beats on this stretch of water. Lockable storage and drying space for your gear and a freezer for your catch.

Fishing parties and corporate groups are very welcome.
